CPR/AED COURSE


Includes the latest CPR Guidelines
This course is designed to provide various levels of CPR training based on the participant’s background,
needs and interest. A presentation on how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) as well as
AED certification is also provided with the course.


Structure Level A: any individual,  Level C: any individual, Level HCP:  **professional rescuers and healthcare providers**
Duration Level A: 4 hours, Level C: 6 hours, Level HCP: 6 hours
Instructor Certified Red Cross First Aid Instructor or CPR Instructor
Completion 100% attendance and 75% min. passing grade at written exam
Certification 1-year certification in CPR Level A,C or HCP and AED
Recertification Level A: none available; Level C & HCP: 4 hours

Covers skills needed to recognize and respond to
cardiovascular emergencies and choking for people
aged 8 and older

Covers all CPR Level B course material and includes
two-rescuer Adult/Child CPR
Adult/Child/Baby CPR – one rescuer
Adult/Child/Baby choking
Barrier devices/pocket masks

Adult/Child 2-rescuer CPR

Level HCP
Covers all CPR Levels’ course material, plus 2-person
Baby CPR and use of a Bag-Valve-Mask
Adult/Child/Baby CPR – one rescuer
Adult/Child/Baby choking
Barrier devices/pocket masks

Rescue breathing
Adult/Child/Baby 2-rescuer CPR
Bag-Valve-Masks (BVMs)
